Komatsu Philippines Corporation conducted a Mangrove Planting Activity on July 19, 2025, at Brgy. Bignay 2, Sitio Kaingin, Sariaya, Quezon, in partnership with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) of Sariaya, Quezon.

This initiative is part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program and underscores our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability. The activity aimed to enhance coastal protection, promote biodiversity, and engage employees in meaningful environmental action.

Joining the event were participants from the STP and the 17th batch of trainees, whose involvement contributed to the success and collaborative spirit of the initiative.

A total of 200 mangrove seedlings were planted during the activity.

The Student Traineeship Program (STP) reflects KPC's continued commitment to developing the next generation of engineering professionals by providing meaningful industry exposure, hands-on training, and opportunities to apply academic knowledge in a professional setting. Throughout the program, participants will gain practical experience, enhance their technical competencies, and deepen their understanding of industry best practices under the guidance of experienced professionals.
