“Working with large trucks and loaders at the Husab Uranium Mine has been an exciting experience, sparking my interest in learning more about how these machines are built and operate. Adapting to cultural differences wasn’t as challenging as I thought it might be, and getting along with my colleagues has been smooth and enjoyable.
Beyond work, I’ve loved exploring the stunning dunes of Namibia. Driving home through the Namib Desert, where the sand meets the Atlantic Ocean, is incredibly calming and a great way to unwind after a day at the mine.
If I ever get the chance to return to Namibia, I’d gladly take it. This experience has been both rewarding and unforgettable.”
