Nihongo Lessons & Training in Japan

Being assigned to the Kanazawa Plant was a great challenge, especially as a solo trainee. Fortunately, the Mining QA team was approachable and always encouraged me to stay positive. I learned many things during the Japan QA training, which helped strengthen my adaptability, resilience, and independence. Although it was tough, I also enjoyed my stay in Kanazawa and our tour of several regions in Japan. I am very thankful to KLTD and KPC for giving us this wonderful opportunity to learn about Komatsu's Quality Assurance and experience living in Japan.

My QA training at the Tochigi Plant in Japan was both challenging and rewarding, especially since it was my first time working alone. The experience pushed me to grow more independent and confident, while the team’s patience and high standards taught me the true meaning of quality. Beyond the technical learning, being immersed in Japanese culture—its discipline, respect, and attention to detail—left a strong impact on me and continues to inspire the way I approach my work today.

"Being assigned to a foreign country for five months—was a first for me, and it came with its own set of challenges. Adapting to a new culture, work environment, and daily life requires courage and flexibility.  Working in an environment that values precision and teamwork has helped me refine my skills, while living in Japan has given me a broader appreciation for cultural diversity. Despite the initial hurdles, the experience has been incredibly rewarding. I’m especially grateful to the supportive mentors, senior colleagues, and team members who went out of their way to guide and teach us."
